NCC through its franchisees who operate the ginning and pressing units shall integrate its operations with farming.  Each unit shall produce cotton under the contract farming mechanism in areas up to 60,000 acres wherein the seeds and other inputs shall be supplied to the farmers.  The technical advisory services shall also be provided to the farmers by the qualified experts trained by NCC.  The cotton produced from known genetic background ie., hybrids that can give superior fibre like Bunny, Mallika etc shall be procured, ginned and baled so as to get the assured quality for meeting the requirements of the mills.

Organic Cotton:

NCC shall also produce organic cotton from 2008-09 year as per the needs of the mills and the present trends in the world.  The contacts and experience of NSL, the largest cotton seed producer in the country and the know-how of the NSL team shall be of tremendous support to NCC in producing organic cotton.
